Mr. Yinka Sanni is currently the Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, the parent Company of Stanbic IBTC Trustees Limited and a member of the Standard Bank Group, Africa’s largest bank by assets. Prior to assuming this role, he was the Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC. Until his appointment as Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC, he was the Deputy Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC. He was also the Executive Director & Head of Corporate & Investment Banking for Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC prior to his appointment as the Deputy Chief Executive of the Bank.
Mr. Sanni was the pioneer Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited. He was also the pioneer Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited, a company he grew from start up to Nigeria’s leading independent asset management and stockbroking firm.
He has a wealth of experience spanning close to three decades in financing, capital raising, M&A and privatisation advisory. He has a broad-based knowledge of various areas of business having attended several programs and trainings including Blue Ocean Strategy Programme, Insead, Fontainebleau, France; Upstream Oil & Gas Acquisition and Divestment, Euromoney Energy Training, London; Sustainability Training at Central Bank of Nigeria; FITC Directors Continuous Education Program; Directors’ Consortium, Stanford Graduate School of Business; and Essential IT for Non-IT Executives, MIT Sloan.
Mr. Sanni holds a Bachelors degree of Agricultural Economics from The University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he emerged as the best graduating student of the Faculty in 1987. He subsequently obtained an MBA from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He has also undertaken the Harvard Business School, Boston, Advanced Management Programme (AMP) and he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria.
Mrs. Binta Max-Gbinije was appointed Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Trustees Limited on 26 May 2011. She has over 24 years work experience most of which has been in banking. Mrs. Max-Gbinije holds a first Degree in English Language, a Masters in International Law and Diplomacy, an MBA in Management and she is a HCIB of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. She is also a Fellow of the Association of Investment Advisers & Portfolio Managers (IAPM) and an Associate of the Women in Management, Business and Politics (WIMBIZ). Mrs. Max-Gbinije was, at various times, Head of Expert banking in Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc; Head of Private Banking in Stanbic Bank Nigeria; the Pioneer Head of Wealth Management in FBN Capital Limited and Head of Treasury Marketing in then MBC International Bank Limited.
She has attended various courses at Leading Ivy League institutions which include the Harvard Business School, Yale School of Management, Wharton and INSEAD. She is a highly desired public speaker on different topics in her sphere of influence and is the current Vice President of the Association for Corporate Trustees (ACT) Nigeria and also the Chairperson of the Stanbic IBTC Blue Women Network (BWN).
Mr. Eric Fajemisin is Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Ltd (SIPML). Prior to his appointment, he was Executive Director Investments. In this role he had responsibilities for Investment Management, Human Capital & Administration, Business Development and Information Technology Departments of the Company. Mr. Fajemisin has played a pivotal role in the development and implementation of various business strategies which helped transform and sustain the company as the largest Pension Fund Administration Company in Nigeria by way of assets under management.
Mr. Fajemisin joined SIPML at the inception of the Company in year 2005 and he headed the Investment and Business Development Department of the Company leading the company's primary sales efforts and engineering the extensive use of the Company’s innovative sales agency structure.
Mr. Fajemisin has had extensive experience in banking and financial services spanning over 25 years during which period he acquired practical and in-depth knowledge in investment banking, Multilateral sector Financing, Debt Syndication, Equity Placement, Financial Advisory, and Pension Fund Portfolio Management.
Mr. Fajemisin holds a Bachelor's degree in Politics-Philosophy-Economics from the University of Ife and an MBA from the University of Lagos. He is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
Angela Omo – Dare
Ms. Omo-Dare is the Head of Legal Services at Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC. The broad spectrum of advice she offers on the various activities undertaken by the Bank and its subsidiaries, is crucial to the smooth execution of the specialized and complex transactions often handled by Handled by Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC.
She also assists in ensuring that the Stanbic IBTC Group complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
Mrs. Nkiru Olumide-Ojo has almost two decades experience in Brand Marketing and Public Relations looking after multinational and national brands. Her work experience spans across various industries including aviation, telecommunication, oil and gas sectors, and financial Services. Some of her key achievements include the launch of two virgin brands in Nigeria, Ghana, and Liberia. Also the rebranding and full identity change for two multinationals including 'Zain to Airtel' and 'African petroleum (AP) to Forte Oil. She has led teams to develop various award winning campaigns. An expert Crisis Communication Manager; she is currently the Head of Group Marketing and Communications at Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc. In addition to this she is a weekly columnist for BusinessDay, where she writes of her travails and triumphs in the daily challenges women face balancing work, life, family and work. She founded the LightHouse Women’s Network, a female networking group where women support each other to grow and affect the community. Nkiru who sits on two boards was in 2008 named as part of NIPRO’s top 40 under 40 and soon after, Marketing World’s leading Women in Marketing and Communication. She holds a Master’s degree in strategic Marketing Management from the Kingston University Surrey, London, alongside a first degree in biological sciences, and many professional training(s).
